Meet the Puppies

Accepting Applications - Rad!

Meet Rad!

Rad is a cattle dog he acts like it. He is high energy and would love to be a sport dog!

He’s extremely food and toy motivated and is a quick learner. He is good with people and dogs who can tolerate his play style.

This handsome boy is a former stray and spent some time in a shelter, so he can spook at sudden changes or really boisterous movements. He’s incredibly resilient and recovers quickly. He is taking well to house training, but having limited experience in a home means it’s still new for him.

Rad loves his job (herding), so cats likely won’t want to live with him. He has been dedicated about putting in overtime - even during the holidays. He expects to be paid in kibbles accordingly.

Families with herding breed experience are a must - he is a heeler to a T!

ADOPTED - Chaucer

Name: Chaucer (formerly Chops)

DOB: ~ April 2025

Mixed Breed | Male

Chaucer’s story starts with heartbreak. He was abandoned at an emergency vet with a broken front right leg. Shortly after, he became sedate/ hyperesthetic/ hypothermic due to marijuana ingestion. But thanks to some amazing people, he received supportive care and his Salter-Harris fracture was repaired.

Unfortunately, during recheck X-rays it was discovered that his surgery worked a little too well and his radial growth plate closed. He now needs a leg amputation because his leg will never grow properly and will always cause him problems and pain.

He’s sweet, playful, and goofy.. He’s never met a stranger: humans and dogs alike!

ADOPTED - Ace

Name: Ace

Ace is a 2-year-old, ~50 lb beagle/hound mix who is a true champ despite everything he’s been through.

We don’t know much about Ace’s past, but we do know that he has intentional chemical burn scars. But instead of letting his past define him, he still wakes up every day as happy as can be! He was adopted to an amazing family who couldn’t be a better match for him.

ADOPTED - Lucky “Ducky”

Ducky came to us in rough shape: hairless from mange, crusty skin, and front paws that splayed out like little flippers. He battled a severe case of pneumonia soon after arriving at our rescue. With medication & fluids, vitamins & supplements, medicated creams & spa treatments (not to mention time and love!), he was able to make a full recovery. He still has a few bald spots that will likely scar, but they help show just how far he has come.

He loves dogs, cats, couches, sunshine, snacks, and anyone who wants to say hi.

We are proud to announce that Ducky was adopted by two wonderful humans and a chocolate lab sister!
